The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons was established on 29 April 1997 in La Haya, Netherlands. And is a group responsible for implementing the international convention on chemical weapons. Its mission is to ensure the destruction of chemical weapons and prevent future development.
Members of this organization are almost all countries except Israel, Burma, Angola, Egypt, North Korea and South Sudan. Syria was the last country in join to later date after their own chemical disarmament.
